The AMAZING Health Benefits of Broccoli Seeds!
Broccoli sprouts are the most dense dietary source of a phytochemical called sulforaphane. Sulforaphane is a naturally occurring compound which converts to glutathione, the most powerful antioxidant in the human body and is critical for immune function and detoxification. Sulforaphane can prevent cancer by inhibiting the growth of cancer cells and reduce the risk of many other diseases. It's highly bioavailable and can be readily absorbed in the body. How Do I Grow Sprouts at Home?
It’s very easy to grow broccoli seeds at home yourself with a few things to help you along. Fresh is best and it’s affordable and sustainable to grow them yourself. No gardening skills required!
They take about 4 days to mature into green sprouts. They'll have long white shoots and a dark little leafy top. Now you can add to smoothies, soups, salads, sandwiches and anything else!
First you soak the seeds in a dark place so the seeds can germinate. Then you bring them into the light so they can sprout. Drain, and rinse the seeds a few times a day keeping the sprouts well ventilated with lots of air flow. In 4-7 days, they are green and ready. Keep them fresh in a jar in your fridge or freezer.
Our Sprouting Kits contain everything you need to get started growing your own sprouts today!
